Plumbing, Water Softener & Water Treatment Services
Last updated: October 16, 2026

This notice explains the general service information on Prestige Water Group’s website. Project-specific scope, pricing, equipment, exclusions, schedules and warranty terms should be documented in your written service agreement. This website notice does not replace that agreement or any disclosures required by law.

Website information and estimates

Website articles, photos, service descriptions and general guidance are informational and are not a diagnosis of your property or a substitute for an on-site assessment. Equipment suitability, repair options and pricing depend on actual conditions. Any website price, range or example is informational unless expressly identified as a current offer with stated terms. Request a written estimate describing the work, materials, applicable charges and exclusions before authorizing service.

Plumbing conditions and additional work

Existing pipes, valves, drains, fixtures and equipment may have concealed corrosion, deterioration, leaks, blockages, prior installation defects or code issues that cannot be determined from a visual inspection alone. Opening walls, testing, draining or performing repairs may reveal additional conditions. A repair to one component does not establish the condition of the entire system. Necessary changes to the agreed scope, price or restoration work should be explained and authorized in writing before additional work proceeds, except as otherwise permitted by law.

Confirm in the written scope who is responsible for access openings, excavation, permits, inspections, electrical work, hazardous-material evaluation and restoration of walls, floors, ceilings, landscaping or other finishes. These items are not assumed to be included or excluded solely because they appear on this website.

Water softener and treatment limitations

Conventional ion-exchange water softeners primarily address hardness minerals such as calcium and magnesium. Softening alone is not a general guarantee of safe drinking water or a substitute for disinfection. Filtration and reverse osmosis systems address different concerns, and no single treatment system should be assumed to remove every contaminant. Any contaminant-reduction or certification claim must be checked for the exact equipment model and the specific substance being addressed.

Equipment selection and expected performance depend on source-water testing, incoming pressure and flow, water use, system capacity, installation, settings and maintenance. Taste, odor or appearance alone does not establish water safety. General claims about reduced scale, appliance life, energy use or savings are not guarantees of a particular result at your property.

Testing, maintenance and operating conditions

A basic hardness or field screening test is not a comprehensive laboratory analysis or certification of potability. Where health-related contaminants or drinking-water safety are a concern, obtain appropriate testing from a qualified laboratory and follow guidance from your water supplier and public-health authorities. Follow boil-water and other water advisories; do not assume your treatment equipment makes affected water safe.

Follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions for operation, salt or other consumables, regeneration, filter and membrane changes, cleaning, servicing and any required sanitation. Actual service intervals vary with water quality and use. Ion-exchange softeners using sodium salts can add sodium to treated water; anyone with a medically restricted sodium intake should discuss suitable drinking-water arrangements with their clinician. Confirm suitable drainage, discharge requirements and equipment operating limits before installation.

Work by others, remodeling and future service

Tell Prestige Water Group before a service visit if equipment or related plumbing has been inspected, serviced, adjusted, disconnected, moved, reconnected, repaired or modified by anyone else, including the property owner, an occupant, a handyman, a remodeling contractor or another service provider. This includes work around under-sink reverse osmosis systems, water softeners, filters, tubing, fittings, faucets, tanks, valves, drains and water-supply connections. Kitchen, cabinet, countertop, sink and appliance work can disturb these components even when servicing the treatment system is not the purpose of the work.

For safety and liability reasons, and to the extent permitted by applicable law and our existing contractual and warranty obligations, Prestige Water Group reserves the right to inspect the affected installation, require correction of unsafe or incompatible conditions, or decline additional discretionary service when alterations, damage, inaccessible connections or an unverifiable service history prevent us from safely performing or taking responsibility for the requested work. Any inspection fee or corrective work will be explained and authorized before it is performed.

Our original installation or a later service visit does not mean that we have approved, inspected or accepted responsibility for work performed by others. Any inspection or testing we perform is limited to the scope documented for that visit and is not a certification of the entire plumbing system or a guarantee against future leaks or flooding. Responsibility for a leak, failure or resulting damage depends on its actual cause and applicable law; the fact that we originally installed equipment does not, by itself, establish the cause of a later failure.

Third-party or owner-performed work does not automatically void an otherwise applicable warranty. Where permitted by the applicable warranty and law, coverage may exclude damage or defects caused by improper maintenance, modification, disconnection, reconnection or repair by others. Nothing in this section releases Prestige Water Group from responsibility for its own legally actionable work or limits any non-waivable consumer right.

Before remodeling or moving connected fixtures or equipment, arrange for qualified professionals to address affected plumbing and treatment connections and check them for proper operation and leaks before returning them to use. Keep installation, remodeling and service records, including photos and the names of the people who performed the work, for any later evaluation.

Warranties and service concerns

Ask for the applicable written manufacturer and workmanship warranty terms, including duration, coverage, maintenance requirements and the process for requesting service. This website notice does not create an additional warranty, replace an express warranty, disclaim an applicable implied warranty or limit rights and remedies provided by law. Contact Prestige Water Group promptly about a concern so the condition and available service options can be reviewed.

Appointments and emergencies

Submitting a form, email or text is a request for service and does not confirm an appointment or dispatch. Confirm availability directly. Regular business hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; after-hours emergency service is subject to availability. Arrival and completion times can be affected by access, parts, utilities, permits, inspections and conditions found during the work.

For an immediate threat to life or safety, suspected gas leak or carbon monoxide alarm, leave the affected area and contact emergency services or the utility from a safe location. Do not rely on a website form or text for an immediate emergency response.

Your rights and questions

Nothing in this notice waives consumer protections, required disclosures, applicable cancellation rights or Prestige Water Group’s obligations under applicable law. Questions about your project, estimate or equipment should be addressed before work is authorized.
